The photo above is of Ruben Xaus, champion racer and the first Spaniard ever to take victory in the Superbike World Championship.

Notice that Ruben is displaying a high degree of competence and confidence based on his years of effort and dedication on a race motorcycle. He is realistic about the risk involved in his passion and wears all the personal protective equipment to minimize any chance of injury. Notice pads on his knees and shoulders.

Most importantly Ruben is riding on a race track, where he is not jeopardizing anybody else.

Awesome Men, are not wimps or dweebs.

My new book is titled "Be the Awesome Man: A Man's Guide to Discipline, Success, and Happiness," and I wrote it because I am deeply concerned about the crisis affecting young men throughout North America. More and more young men are not attaining standard benchmarks of maturity, such as entering and graduating from higher education, finding a career, establishing their financial independence, and living on their own. The goal of "Be the Awesome Man" is to give struggling young men an easy-to-follow action plan to develop habits of responsibility, accountability, and self-control that will lead them to success and happiness.
